Temporary Wellness Assistant

Laurel Parc, a beautiful senior living community just north of the Beaverton/Hillsboro area seeks a Wellness Assistant to join the Resident Experiences team! This position will be responsible for providing support to all wellness programs and to the Wellness Coordinator so that residents may have the highest quality of physical and social well being.

Schedule: 2 days per week and on-call

Pay: $20.00-20.50 per hour

Shift: Part-time

Main Responsibilities:

• Facilitate daily wellness activities for residents to provide a positive overall experience.
• Help to ensure each wellness initiative is prepared beforehand according to the time scheduled.
• Have knowledge of proper use of equipment, possess ability to answer questions in regards to wellness, and refer issues to necessary individual(s) at Laurel Parc.
• Check-in with residents regarding nutrition, health, social and fitness concerns.

Language Requirement

All team members must have the basic ability to use computer/smart phone applications for training and company system purposes. Employees must also be able to comprehend written documents such as work orders, safety rules, instructions, policies, and procedures. Also required is the ability of employees to speak and communicate effectively with clients, coworkers and management.
