What are the responsibilities and job description for the School Bus and Van Drivers position at Laurel School District?
POSITION: Bus Drivers
QUALIFICATIONS: The Laurel SD is seeking bus and van drivers for the 2025-26 school year. Part-time and full-time routes are available. CDL Class B with school bus and passenger endorsements is required, but the District will provide classes and train at no cost. Classes will be held the evenings of May 5, 8, and 9, 2025. We will get you licensed and ready to drive a school bus!
If you are already licensed to drive and/or would like a change, please apply! Competitive daily rate plus hourly rate for extra/field trips. Up to $1500 year-end bonus is available for attendance and safe driving.
State-required clearances, pre-employment drug screen, and clean MVR record required prior to start. Previous bus driving experience is preferred, but not required.
