A technical school in Northern western, PA seeks a qualified admission representative/ recruiter. An Admissions Representative identifies, interviews, and facilitates the enrollment of prospective students in a program of study offered by the school. This individual will be conducting both in-house and outside recruitment. The willingness to travel and speak to large groups of students is required.
We are seeking a Campus Recruiter to serve as our primary connection with universities and assist in the recruitment of students and recent graduates.
Responsibilities of the Campus Recruiter/Admissions. To excel in this role, you must have experience utilizing diverse sourcing strategies, such as social recruiting, and possess exceptional relationship-building abilities.
Responsibilities
- Conducts face-to-face or personal interviews, telephone interviews and e-mail correspondence to identify high school and adult student prospects to determine their educational needs, concerns and interests.
- Present to high schools throughout the five-county region and attend college/career fairs as needed.
- Responsible for facilitating orientation and Registration day activities.
- Closely assists and mentors students through the Admissions process.
- Ensures compliance with applicable Company policies and procedures, laws and regulations.
- Verbally communicates approved presentations to promote programs to prospective adult and high school students.
- Actively generates referral business to help maintain school goals.
- Participates in school retention efforts by maintaining productive contact with his/her active students through graduation.
- Actively participates in special recruiting promotional activities.
- Process paperwork for accepted students
- Update and maintain a database of students’ information
- Refer students to program directors or the financial department for specific information
- Guide students through the application and acceptance process
- Recruiting for a Distance Education platform a plus!
- Required to meet monthly quotas.
- Must have 3 years of recruiting.
Salary - DOE
Hours - Monday - Friday - 3 days in office/ on campus required.
