School Cleaning Technician/Housekeeper

We are looking for a Cleaning Technician support person to join our team! 15/hours per week. 5/days a week 4 PM-7PM

Responsibilities:
Provide on-going sanitization and disinfection to high traffic areas, such as CRC, lobby, restrooms, meeting rooms, labs, and other common areas, to include but not limited to:

· Chairs,classroom tables, computer keyboards/monitors, desks/tabletops, copiers, fax machines, shared telephones.

· Clean Restrooms, including sinks, stall walls, commodes, handrails and dispensers.

· Break room, including tables, chairs, microwave, sink, refrigerator handles, etc.

· Door handles on entry/exit doors and interior doors

• Maintain cleaning supplies- provide ongoing communication with Site Administrator for ordering
• Maintain communication with Building Manager to ensure established protocols are sufficient; recommend modifications as necessary to ensure proper building safety measures.

Other maintenance duties as assigned by supervisor may be required such as snow removal, building repairs etc.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

· Must be able to stand, walk, bend, squat, and reach for 80-100% of day

· Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds for 50-75% of day

· Must have good interpersonal and communication skills

· Must be able to work closely and effectively within all levels of the organization

· Must be able to interact effectively with the public

· Familiarity with PPE, HazComm, Infection Control techniques, SDS, and BBP beneficial.

Qualifications

High School Diploma Strongly Preferred
Post-secondary education is preferred
One year of administrative support working experience is preferred.
General knowledge and experience with office equipment such as copiers, multi-line phone systems, fax machines and paging systems
