RATE : $17.50 - $20.00 DOE
500 Commitment BONUS, 50% at 3 months, and 50% at 6 months
As a Paraeducator in our Pathways department, you can expect a typical day to include :
- Helping students / consumers (Teens / Adults) aged 14 and older with their individualized goals under the direction of the Lead Teacher or Manager.
- Assisting with communication with families.
- Attending collaborative meetings.
- Assisting in transitioning students to different environments within the campus.
- Assisting with hygiene care, including bathroom needs.
Unlike other institutions, L.I.F.E. Pathways department maintains a low student / consumer to instructor ratio and has extensive support from specialty therapists and behavior analysts. This position may be placed in Pathways to Independence, Pathways to Employment, or Pathways to Adulthood, depending on where the need is greatest.
