JOB SUMMARY
Are you organized and detail-oriented? Are you passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of military veterans & their families? We are seeking a dedicated Veteran's Educational Benefits Coordinator to join our team! In this role you will report directly to the Director of Veteran Services and will ensure that veterans receive the assistance they need to navigate their educational journey successfully.
Specific responsibilities of the Veteran Coordinator include, but are not limited to the following:
· Enrollment Certification- Certify veteran students’ enrollment with VA, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete and accurate
· Invoicing- Prepare and submit invoices to the VA for tuition and fees associated with veteran students, maintaining compliance with federal regulations.
· Record Management- Maintain organized records of certifications and invoices, ensuring all documentation is readily accessible and up to date.
· Communication- Serve as a point of contact for veteran students regarding their benefits, answering questions and providing guidance throughout the certification process.
· Collaboration- Work closely with other departments to ensure timely and accurate enrollment reporting and invoicing.
· Compliance Monitoring- Stay informed about changes in VA regulations and policies to ensure ongoing compliance and all certification and invoicing activities.
· Other duties as assigned
JOB REQUIREMENTS
· Minimum 2 years administrative experience a must
· Detail Oriented
· Excellent communication and follow-up skills
· Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office
· Flexible schedule and ability to work in a fast paced environment
· Empathetic to the concerns of students; exceptional listening skills
· Self-motivated; goal-oriented

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
