REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Creates and fosters a positive environment at all times
- Ensure all safety and sanitation standards are strictly adhered to at all times, and waste is eliminated
- Ensure all food is delivered to tables accurately, and in a timely manner
- Promptly notifies managers/chefs when in need of assistance/running lengthier than expected ticket times
- Ensure food is prepared accurately (knows recipes) and portions/plating presentation meets all standards
- Ensure all food orders has tickets generated
- Handles guest complaints quickly and with a guest-centric attitude
- Confidence to direct the work of culinary team in a collaborative and productive way
- Gently/firmly coaches all team members to follow all food production standards and reaches out to chefs/managers to address all delinquent staff (vs. scolding them directly)
- Knows when to prioritize expedited orders, and when to notify managers when certain staff members exhibit patterns of behavior that hurt productivity, food cost, etc.
- Expedite and time orders
- Full knowledge of all menu items to answer all Staff questions. Allergies, dietary restrictions, etc.
- Assist in maintaining, cleaning/sanitizing and clearing tables during dining experience
- Clear and concise communication with the team FOH, BOH and MOD
- Handling and communicating Staff needs or requests
