GENERAL SUMMARY; A Marketing Director is responsible for different tasks such as planning, implementing and managing restaurant marketing strategies. This would include strategic planning, market research, campaign management, brand management, budget management, team leadership, data analysis, analyzing trends and ensuring consistent messaging across marketing channels. All of these responsibilities help ensure that the company’s marketing efforts are effective and consistent to our mission statement. This person plays a vital role in shaping the brand image, driving sales and contributing to the overall success of the business.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 7-10 years of experience in the field of marketing sales, preferably in hospitality/restaurants.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in marketing, business or related field; though a master’s degree in communication or business administration is preferred.
- Strong project management, multitasking and decision-making skills
- Excellent organizational & planning skills (Time Management)
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Proven success with marketing & strategic marketing strategies
- Ability to track ROI/metrics on each project
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work quickly/well under pressure, can adapt to rapidly changing environments

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Creates and fosters a positive environment at all times
- Responds/monitors all social media with timely and professional engagement with guests
- Monitors/manages all review platforms, works with managers to address negative reviews, shares positive ones
- Create strategic email campaigns for each restaurant, with regularity (and monitors/tweaks as needed)
- Creates regular content for all existing social media platforms, and creates new ones as needed
- Reaches out to potential business partners to create relationships
- Manages and attends all community events where PR/outreach is available
- Produces promo cards as needed through Toast
- Ensures the growth of the restaurants through developing and implementing effective advertising campaigns.
- Creates lasting relationships with consumers and boost revenues.
- Analyzes sales data to make recommendations to Culinary/Operations Directors
- Plan & develop advertising campaigns
- Maintains consistent brand imaging
- Works in productive partnership with all staff
- Ensures certain branded items such as postcards, stickers, media are produced/ordered as needed/directed
- Will help with creative ideas/management of the retail spaces/opportunities at all restaurants
TECHNICAL TASKS
- Must be able to learn POS/Toast & Open Table
- Microsoft Office proficient
- Graphics arts skills and competence in platforms such as Canva/Adobe to create visually appealing content
- Social media/digital marketing platforms such as FB, IG, etc.
- Use of Excel to analyze sales, market trends, customer behavior and campaign performance. They use the data analysis to gain actionable insights.
- May be asked to assist in retail sales projects regarding branded merchandise
