Job Responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver dry cleaning and laundry items to and from customers' locations in a timely manner.
- Maintain a consistent and efficient route schedule to ensure timely delivery and pickup services.
- Load and unload items carefully to prevent damage during transit.
- Verify customer orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness upon pickup and delivery.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any questions or concerns during interactions.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions responsibly, maintaining accurate records of all payments received.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of the delivery vehicle.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or repair needs promptly.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating the delivery vehicle.
- Communicate effectively with the dry cleaning facility to ensure smooth service operations.
- Assist with sorting and organizing laundry items as necessary during downtime.
- Keep accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and any customer feedback for reporting to management.
- Uphold the company’s image and professionalism when representing the business to customers.
