About The Role
As an Engineer for new plant licensing, you will report to the Engineering Manager of Project Engineering for AP Technology Deployment. You will be part of one of our AP1000 Project Engineering team and engage on a vast set of nuclear power plant design topics (with a focus on New Plants Licensing supporting Westinghouse International new build market development and capture. This engineer will partner with the design functions to help fulfill licensing requirements and the development of licensing strategies to project and regulatory challenges.
This role is a growth opportunity for those looking to develop as a technical or business leader, as support will go beyond one specific discipline spanning the new nuclear reactor design and help develop a large network within Westinghouse.
This position is hybrid requiring 2 days/week on-site at the Westinghouse Global Headquarters facility in Cranberry Woods, PA in the Greater Pittsburgh Area. No relocation will be provided for this position. We can entertain candidates authorized to work without sponsorship now and in the future as we are unable to sponsor Visa's for this opportunity.

Responsibilities
- Assess incoming customer requests, develop response plan
- Compile existing technical design information across multiple technical areas into reports
- Work with our Licensing group, multiple engineering groups and other departments involved in a new build project to deliver engineering commitments on time and with the appropriate quality
- Support multiple aspects of future bid and proposal efforts for projects in multiple international locations

- Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent
- Projects require up to /- 25% travel for peak times including international travel
- Establish networks across different areas both technical and functional
