We are searching for a Project Technician – Clean Fuels on behalf of our client. This is a 1 yr. contract assignment. (W-2) As project Technician, you will be joining the Energy Engineering and Construction (E&C) Division. The person will be supporting the Clean Fuels team encompassing the following areas: hydrogen and derivatives (ammonia, methanol, synthetic natural Gas, synthetic aircraft fuel, biofuels, etc.) projects and fossil fuel projects (combined cycle plants, simple cycle power plants, cogeneration plants, combine heat and power plants, conversion of coal plants to natural Gas firing, waste-to-energy plants, renewable natural gas plants, carbon capture and sequestration, nuclear (conventional and small modular reactors), etc.)
Employees in this role will be assisting engineers in being efficient and able to make decisions and recommendations, having a significant impact on engineering and related activities for the company. This position is critical to ensuring the engineering team is productive and accurate in work assignments.
In this position, you will be responsible for all aspects of project coordination, organization and tracking working closely with the engineering team on their portfolio of clean fuels projects.
Location: Remote_ This is a home office or remote position (i.e. not a field project position).
This is a 1 yr. contract assignment (W2)
Pay rate: 31.00/hr.

Position Specific Description
- Responsibilities span document control, project task tracking via spreadsheets and databases, assisting engineers with developing scopes of work and contract documents, assisting project engineers with developing presentations in PowerPoint and other presentation formats, database mining and organizing data recovery.
- The position requires continuous coordination with diverse project engineers (civil, geotechnical, nuclear, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and controls), third party engineering firms, contractors, and project managers from early stage through construction.
- A successful candidate will have experience applying document control systems and databases (especially NAMS), intimate knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and SharePoint, outstanding verbal and written communications skills, along with a proven record of coordinating with project engineers to achieve business objectives are key attributes.
- Demonstrates a high degree of creativity, foresight, and mature judgment in planning, organizing work
- Manages multiple complex tasks which are of critical importance to overall company objectives
- Performs duties with enthusiasm and bias for action
- Maintains internal document control database
- Coordinates with 3rd party engineering firms to ensure document control databases are accurate and both parties are using the same current data
- Maintains project status spreadsheets
- Assists engineers in remaining organized and productive
- Assists engineers with writing, conforming and adapting Engineer of Record (EOR), Engineering Consultant, Early-Stage Engineering, Construction, Engineer/Procure/Construct (EPC) and Owner furnished equipment specifications and other technical contract documents as needed for each project to put contracts in place
- Working with the company purchasing department to ensure that purchase orders adequately define the specified requirements and contracts are put in place
- Assist engineers with maintaining documentation and tracking of monitoring of equipment surveillance programs
- Maintaining tracking to ensure engineering deliverables meet project schedule need
- Maintaining NAMS inputs and ensuring tracking nuclear engineering modification packages
- Experience: Qualified similar experience with at least 7 years pertinent experience
- Associates degree in document systems management or similar degree
- Prior experience in engineering firm or similar company
- Knowledge of clean fuels mark having worked in a company with activities in these markets
- Skilled in using spreadsheets and databases
- Skill with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, Sharepoint and NAMS
