The AP Technology Deployment department is looking for a senior engineer to deliver on AP1000 Front End Engineering projects and project development activities.

Your Day-to-Day
The AP Technology Deployment department is looking for a senior engineer to deliver on AP1000 Front End Engineering projects and project development activities.
Responsibilities
The project engineers will report to a AP1000 Project Engineering Manager and be assigned to one or several technical areas. Their specific responsibilities will be as follows:
- Work with support of Functional Area Lead(s) to ensure progress and scope execution on AP1000 Front End Engineering contracts and new plant project development activities
- Responsible for the managing the schedule and budgeting
- Lead point of contact for Functional Area Leads and Project Coordinator
- Responsible for discipline representation in the Project Review Meetings
- Supports the Project Engineering Manager and Design Technical Lead as required
As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience, previous experience on AP1000 design preferred
- Ability to travel internationally as projects require (up to /- 25% for peak times)
- Cognizance in at least one of the following technical areas:
- Nuclear systems design
- Turbine Island/Balance of Plant systems or structural design
- NSSS components design and analyses
- Piping layout and/or analysis
- Licensing
- Plant layout integration
- Digital Design (configuration control)
- Civil, Structural and Architectural engineering
- Electrical design
- Effective oral and written communications
- Ability to establish effective networks across various functional areas
