As a Senior Project Controls Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the planning, execution, and completion of low to moderate complexity projects. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring project performance, managing schedules, budgets, and resources, and ensuring that all project objectives are met within the desired timeline and budget constraints. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to provide accurate and timely project controls information.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring all activities are planned and tracked effectively.
- Monitor project progress and performance using various metrics and indicators including Earned Value Management
- Prepare and present regular project status reports, highlighting any deviations from the plan and recommending corrective actions.
- Manage project budgets, including cost estimation, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Implement and oversee project control processes and tools to ensure consistency and accuracy in data collection and reporting.
- Collaborate with project teams to identify and mitigate risks, ensuring proactive problem-solving and decision-making.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure project objectives are clearly defined and understood.

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, project management.
- Typically a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a related field
- Knowledge of PMI Principles
- Experience with Project Management Tools (ex. Primavera, MS Project, SAP PS)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Experience in making presentations and facilitating meetings.
- Proficient in MS Excel
- Strong teamwork
- Ability to coordinate and prioritize workload
