Description : Position Summary :
This position is responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing incoming materials.
Position Responsibilities :
- Perform unloading and loading of trucks as required.
- Process incoming shipments in accordance with procedures.
- Perform material handling to move materials to and from the receiving area.
- Transports and delivers stock / materials / product to and from appropriate staging / process / storage areas of the plant.
- Perform delivery routes as established for the position.
- Record and submit accurate production and quality data, work records, etc., appropriate to the position.
- Perform department TPM and / or 5S checklists as assigned.
- Follow standard work, line clearance and setup verification procedures relevant to position.
- Follow PPE and safety rules specified for the work area.
- Participate in problem-solving and continuous improvement activities.
- Train others within the work area.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
