Role Description

Lavera Event Center and Catering is seeking a part-time Lead Banquet Server to join our team in Willoughby Hills, OH. The Lead Banquet Server will play a key role in overseeing banquet events, managing and coordinating the serving staff, ensuring outstanding customer service, and supporting the seamless execution of food and beverage service during events.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage banquet service operations, ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction.
• Coordinate and direct the serving staff to ensure smooth service during events.
• Maintain communication with the event management team to ensure timely service and address client needs.
• Ensure food and beverage service is delivered efficiently, professionally, and in line with Lavera's standards.
• Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the event space throughout service.
• Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest inquiries or concerns in a courteous and professional manner.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in food service or food and beverage roles, particularly within banquet or event settings.
• Strong leadership and team coordination skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Attention to detail and multitasking capabilities to ensure smooth event operations.
• Food safety certification is preferred but not required.
• Flexibility in working hours, including weekends and evenings
