Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable, tech-savvy, and self-motivated Hardware Technician for a temporary role. This position involves hardware assembly, troubleshooting, shipping logistics, and inventory management. The ideal candidate is trustworthy, independent, and able to work efficiently without supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble and configure hardware components, including POS systems and peripherals.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware issues.
- Pack and prepare hardware shipments for customers and internal use.
- Utilize UPS WorldShip to process and track shipments.
- Manage inventory, including receiving, labeling, and organizing hardware components.
- Maintain accurate records of hardware bundles and shipments.
- Collaborate with the support team to address customer hardware concerns.
Qualifications:
- Experience as a Hardware Technician or in a similar role.
- Familiarity with UPS WorldShip and shipping/receiving processes.
- Strong technical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to lift and move boxes up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to successfully pass a background check.
- Self-starter who can work independently and efficiently.
- Reliable and detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
