Job Description

We are seeking a Paralegal / Legal Assistant to join our team (FT or PT).

Duties

Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents such as briefs, pleadings, appeals, and agreements
Assist with the drafting and reviewing of discovery responses and Motions
Conduct legal research using tools like Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw
Support attorneys in employment law, personal injury law, and other legal areas

Requirements

Experience working as a Paralegal / Legal Assistant or similar role

Strong knowledge of various legal areas including employment law and personal injury law

Experience with Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Deadline and detail oriented

Proficiency in Word and Outlook

Experience with efiling on Court's website

Excellent organizational and multitasking skills

Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines efficiently
