The ideal candidate will have experience in worker’s compensation defense and be adept at handling all aspects of case management while working in a team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Independently manage a caseload of worker’s compensation defense matters from inception to resolution.
- Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, and prepare case strategies.
- Represent clients in hearings, depositions, and trials before the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board (WCAB).
- Provide legal analysis and advice to clients, including insurance carriers, employers, and third-party administrators.
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal team members.
- Stay up to date with relevant laws, regulations, and case precedents.
