Seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Paralegal / Legal Assistant with insurance defense experience to support attorneys in managing high-volume caseloads and ensuring smooth case progression. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in litigation support, discovery management, trial preparation, and legal research .
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist in handling insurance defense litigation matters, including personal injury, premises liability, auto accidents, construction defects, toxic torts, and professional liability claims .
- Manage discovery processes , including drafting and responding to discovery requests, subpoenas, and document production .
- Conduct legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, PACER, and agency databases .
- Organize and maintain case files, trial materials, and deposition summaries .
