The Law Office of Bryan Fagan is a firm that excels in family, estate planning & probate, and criminal law matters. We have (5) offices in the Houston area, (1) office in Austin, Dallas, San Antonio and more offices on the way.
About the Role:
Due to growth, we are seeking a Recruiter to be responsible for the recruitment process by managing the related administrative tasks; like posting job announcements, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, preparing offer letters, maintaining the sourcing tools and candidate database. Ultimately assisting the hiring team in finding qualified talent for the company by playing a key role in streamlining the recruitment workflow and ensuring a positive candidate experience.
Key responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Job Posting and Sourcing:
Drafting and posting job announcements on various platforms.
Utilizing applicant tracking systems (ATS) to manage candidate flow.
Sourcing potential candidates through online job boards, LinkedIn, networking, employee referrals, and other channels.
Candidate Screening:
Reviewing resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
Conducting initial phone screens to pre-qualify candidates.
Checking references and verifying employment history.
Interview Coordination:
Scheduling interviews with hiring managers and candidates.
Preparing interview questions and sending them to interviewers.
Managing interview logistics and follow-up communication.
Offer Management:
Preparing and extending job offers to selected candidates.
Conducting compensation analysis to determine salary ranges.
Managing the onboarding process for new hires.
Data Management:
Maintaining accurate candidate information in the ATS.
Generating reports on recruitment metrics and KPIs.
Tracking candidate progress throughout the hiring process.
Other Administrative Duties as needed:
Ensure pending hire completes pre-employment documents timely.
Create New Hire Welcome Packets.
Complete weekly metric reporting.
Be flexible to complete other duties as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
3 years of proven experience in sales; in a client, candidate customer service industry. Bachelor’s degree in HR, marketing or related industries and 1 year of recruiting experience highly preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with candidates and hiring managers.
Proficient skills with MS Office Suite, to include, email, calendar, excel, and PowerPoint; experience with Google Suite a plus.
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) preferred.
Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in candidate data and documentation.
Basic understanding of recruitment best practices and employment laws, a plus.

Monday-Friday, 40 hours a week.
Office hours are between 8:00am – 6:00pm
