Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Paralegal/ Assistant to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will assist in various legal tasks and provide administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the legal department.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct document review and data entry tasks efficiently
- Assist in managing legal case files and documents using document management systems
- Support attorney in preparing legal documents and correspondence
- Perform clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and scanning documents
- Maintain organized records of all legal documents and correspondence
- Provide administrative support including scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and handling phone calls with professionalism
Experience:
- Previous experience in a legal setting or as a paralegal assistant is preferred
- Experience in Family Law preferred but not required.
- Strong understanding of legal terminology and processes
- Proficient in data entry and maintaining accurate records
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Exceptional phone etiquette and communication skills
