Law firm seeking a full-time legal assistant position. Job duties include communicating with clients, drafting pleadings, electronic filing with the Courts, answering phones, copying documents, scanning files for electronic file management, dictation, assisting attorneys with various tasks as well as other office duties as required.
Previous experience in the legal field is required.
The firm practices in the areas of estate planning, estate/trust administration, probate litigation, business planning, landlord/tenant law, real estate, general civil litigation, general counsel and political subdivision work.
A successful applicant will be professional, organized, have strong communication skills, a pleasant attitude and demeanor, will be a self-starter, and comfortable with all communication skills and can take direction. The successful applicant will work closely with the firm’s other legal staff and the firm’s attorneys.
