About Us
We are a law firm specializing in family law and traffic ticket defense. We are seeking a receptionist/legal assistant with at least two years of experience to join our team. This role involves providing administrative and legal support to attorneys and staff in a fast-paced office environment.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for clients and visitors by answering calls, screening or forwarding inquiries, and greeting clients professionally.
- Schedule appointments, draft legal documents, and maintain client files and firm records.
- Follow up with prospective clients and update existing clients on case progress.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, including sorting and distributing deliveries.
- Communicate via phone and email with other attorneys, courts, and legal professionals.
- Perform clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and faxing.
- Assist management with administrative tasks and special projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum two years of experience as a legal assistant or front desk receptionist at a law firm.
- Experience in traffic ticket case management preferred.
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) with strong communication skills in both languages.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word), Google Sheets, Google Calendar, and File Explorer.
- Hands-on experience with office equipment (fax machines, printers, etc.).
- Strong multitasking skills and ability to be resourceful when challenges arise.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
