Job Description: The Legal Administrative Assistant(LAA) speaks with potential clients on the telephone educating them about the firm’s services and scheduling consultations. The LAA facilitates efficient office administration including: electronic calendar system, office processes, mail/faxes/scanning; ordering supplies; opening and closing electronic client files; generates monthly client billing and collects accounts receivables; communicates with vendors. It is the ideal full time position for a mature, compassionate and proactive professional who enjoys working with people of all ages. Training will begin the end of March, 2025.
Job Requirements:
● 1 yrs. Paralegal or legal administrative experience (min. Associate’s degree)
● Efficient time management skills, able to effectively prioritize work and multi-task
● Excellent verbal & written communication skills, organizational and problem-solving skills, pays attention to details.
● Proficient in excel, word perfect; experience in TimeSlips, Time Matters, e-filing
● Scanning, merging
● Collecting accounts receivables a plus
● Speaking Spanish and experience with trust accounting rules is a plus.
