I am Looking for a highly motivated self-starter who has relevant current Family Law paralegal experience. I am looking for a paralegal/ office manager. This position will require office duties such as answering phones, answering my email as well as your own, and handling all mail as well as all paralegal duties, to include drafting documents, research, filing and calendaring. As well as running the office.
The position will require someone who is detail-oriented and who can multitask. This is a high-stress job that will require the ability to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines while maintaining the office.
The area of practice is mostly Family Law and Dependency cases as well as Guardianships. I do require someone who has paralegal experience, as well as office experience and knowledge of how to use computers and run an office to a degree are essential. It is only myself and my paralegal so I am looking for someone who can run the office when I am not here and handle all of the day-to-day tasks to keep the office going. Administrative tasks are a part of the job including keeping records of finances and drafting and maintaining excel spreadsheets and files.
I am looking for someone who can work independently and does not need to be micromanaged. You will need to communicate with clients and other attorneys, so someone who has customer service skills and can handle high conflict. I am looking for someone who needs minimal training and who has a working knowledge of Family law in Pierce County and a working knowledge of Linx.
This position is both a paralegal and office management position, and personal assistant tasks may be needed as well. Drafting documents, preparing case files, filing documents on linx and other Court systems, as well as preparing financial documents and managing the calendars are included in daily job tasks.

It is expected that you start at 8 am, which means you need to be at your desk ready to start for the day at 8 AM and should be available to stay until at least 4:30 PM, every day. This is an in person full time position. Monday - Friday
I am looking for someone to start immediately.
There will be a period of training and that takes place in the office. There is no possibility for any remote work for the first 3 months. This is an in person full time position. If remote working is necessary, that can be discussed on a basis of need. But eligibility for that opportunity is after the first 3 months. But the training will be on the job and yuo are expected to jump in and start on the 1st day with little training. I need someone who has a working knowledge of how to do family Law in Pierce County.
Pay is based on experience and can be discussed at the interview. The pay range is between $20-$25 an hour and education and level of experience and type of experience will be considered. Please do not apply if you need more than this range. This is non-negotiable If you need more than this please do not apply. It does not matter your level of experience. I will not offer more than my pay range regardless of your years of experience.
I am requiring at least some Experience in Paralegal experience within the last 4 years of work experience. I will not consider anyone with less than 1 year of paralegal related experience.
My expectation is that who I hire will need minimal training and can jump right in. It is only me and my part time paralegal so there is no ability for full time training. You will be trained as you work. If this is not something you can do, please do not apply.
I am unable to offer any health benefits or retirement benefits at this time. However, raises, bonuses and paid holidays are available with eligibility.
Unpaid Vacation time shall be available after 30 days from the start date of employment, and approval is necessary with a 30 days' notice requirement.
If you do not have a college degree or equivalent, you are not eligible for the higher pay range to start. There is room for growth however and raises and bonuses. I do not require a paralegal certificate, but relevant actual paralegal experience is reqired to be considered.
