What are the responsibilities and job description for the Legal Administrative Assistant/Receptionist position at Law Office of Tevis Reich, PLLC?
Opening for a legal assistant and receptionist for a small law office working in the are of civil law. Ideal candidate will have experience in the legal field. Applicants should demonstrate an ability multitask and perform in a high-paced environment.
Duties will include corresponding and communicating with clients, answering phones and directing phone calls, scanning and copying documents, proofreading documents, transcription, dictation, filing, managing attorney’s calendar; e-filing documents with the court, answering phones and greeting people coming to the office. Applicants who have the ability to assist with drafting legal documents, motions, letters, and legal memoranda should indicate this skill and experience which is a plus.
The job requires time-management skills, good general office management skills and “people” skills. The ideal applicant will be able to interact with and deal with clients, prepare general legal documents, letters and motions etc. Applicant should be able to inventory and order office supplies, effectively managing phone calls, manage and pay office expenses and perform general administrative tasks. Applicant should have strong computer skills and demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Word, WordPerfect, QuickBooks, Excel and Power Point. The ideal applicant will have a professional demeanor and an ability to learn quickly and take direction well.
Pay Depends on Experience (DOE). Incentives include vacation/sick pay; retirement contributions (upon vesting); and medical insurance stipend.
