Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our team. A background in Title 19 application requirements or real estate closings preferred. This is a part-time position with flexible hours. A background check is required. Responsibilities
- Manage and organize legal files and case documentation.
- Schedule appointments and client meetings.
- Answer phones, screen calls, and take messages.
- Handle client communications and provide general office support.
- Collect documents and prepare Title 19 applications and/or real estate closings.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Paralegal Studies or related field preferred.
- Previous experience as a Legal Secretary or in a similar role within a law firm is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and documentation.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
