Full job description
Part time position available assisting the attorney with Elderlaw and real estate matters. The candidate will be responsible for preparing Medicaid applications, drafting estate planning documents, preparing and filing probate paperwork and preparing documents for real estate closings as well as performing general paralegal duties. Elder Law or Real Estate experience is preferred but not required.
Summary
As a Paralegal/Legal Assistant, you will support the practice in various legal tasks, ensuring efficient case management and document preparation. Your core skills in organization, task management and document review will be essential in assisting with work of the practice. With strong organizational and writing skills, you will contribute to a well-functioning law office, helping to maintain high standards of legal service and client satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Experience in a law office setting
- Strong writing and document review skills
- Familiarity or experience in Elderlaw or real estate matters a plus
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent computer skills using Microsoft Office platforms
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and effectively
