Job Overview:
Seeking a detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join the team and provide support to attorneys and paralegals in the firm's Personal Injury department.
Duties:
- Assist in opening files and drafting documents
- Speak with clients to gather case information
- Order, track and then maintain medical records
- Assist attorneys in preparing for daily matters including arbitrations, mediations, conferences and trials.
- Perform administrative tasks to support the legal team
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working as a Legal Assistant or Paralegal
- Basic knowledge of legal procedures and terminology
- Ability to write clearly and concisely
- Confidence using a computer and case management software
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
