Overview
We are looking to hire a detail-oriented and organized paralegal to assist with personal injury litigation. Part-time position available. The key responsibilities include: assisting with PI cases from inception through resolution; organizing medical records, police reports, and other case-related documents; editing and filing pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responses; scheduling depositions, mediations, and court hearings; maintaining case files and timely updating case notes; communicating with clients, witnesses, experts, and opposing counsel; and helping prepare trial exhibits, binders, and other materials for hearings and trial. Duties
- Conduct legal research to support case preparation and strategy development.
- Assist in drafting legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, and motions.
- Review and organize case files, ensuring all documents are accurate and up-to-date.
- Interview clients and witnesses to gather relevant information for cases.
- Assist in the preparation for trials, including document review and evidence organization.
- Provide administrative support, including scheduling appointments and managing attorney calendars.
- Collaborate with clients to ensure they understand the legal process and their rights.
