The Law Offices of Lynda Hinkle, serving Southern New Jersey for over 15 years, is seeking a dedicated Associate Attorney specializing in Family Law and Estate Planning to join our compassionate and experienced legal team.
Location: Marlton, Turnersville and/or hybrid – split work from home and work in office.
Responsibilities:
• Family Law: Represent clients in matters such as divorce, child custody and support, premarital agreements, adoption, and domestic violence cases.
• Estate Planning: Assist clients in developing comprehensive estate plans, including drafting wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advance directives.
• Client Consultation: Provide compassionate and personalized legal counsel, ensuring clients are well-informed about their legal options and the implications of their decisions. The right candidate will take seriously not just goals of quality representation but building a book of business via consults and marketing the firm.
• Legal Research and Documentation: Conduct thorough legal research, draft, and review legal documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with current laws and regulations.
• Court Representation: Advocate for clients in court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations, striving for favorable outcomes while maintaining professionalism and integrity.
Requirements:
• Education: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Licensure: Active membership in good standing as a New Jersey attorney.
• Experience: Clerkship and/or minimum one year experience in family law firm in New Jersey.
• Skills:
o Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
o Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
o Knowledge of family and estate planning law basics
o Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
o Strong sense of social justice and respect for all people
o Capacity to multitask and also self-manage
o Empathy and the ability to provide compassionate client service
