About us: Our firm has served clients in the Denver metro area since 1998. We are a general practice law firm that handles cases in a number of areas including Family Law, Civil Litigation, Criminal Defense, Traffic- DUI/DWAI, Personal Injury, and others. If you want variety in your practice, our firm is the place for you. While we are a small firm, we have secured a new, larger office space in DTC and are looking to expand aggressively in the next 1 to 2 years. This is a great opportunity for an experienced lawyer to join us and become a key member of the team that helps with our projected growth. About you: The ideal candidate will have 3 years of family law experience, but we will consider someone with less than that. Of course, the basics are required including a J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to practice law in Colorado. Beyond that, you must be able to conduct legal research, draft legal documents, represent clients in court, negotiate settlements, and provide general legal guidance, among other responsibilities. The successful candidate will have a strong background in litigation (minimum of 3 years of litigation experience is required), excellent legal research and writing skills, and the ability to manage multiple cases across multiple practice areas effectively. In addition, you should be focused, driven, and self-motivated. A team player but also able to work independently.
