Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree.
Duties
Prepare, e-file and serve legal documents including motions, complaints, summons, orders, and letters under direct supervision of the Manager of Garage Impounds Department
Intermediary for cases handled by local counsel, working with attorneys to ensure timely completion of the legal process; acts as a liaison between local counsel and clients to manage case activity
Make outgoing calls as directed by supervisors
Reviews impound notices for potential garage cases and advise clients
Communicates with clients to provide current updates
Maintains electronic filing system; assist in physical filing
Opens new cases and maintains open and closed tracking sheets
Answers incoming calls
Other duties as assigned by Practice Manager.
Technical Skills
MS Office
Detailed oriented
Ability to navigate the internet for research
Proficient in spelling, punctuation, and grammar
Notary Public preferred
Proofreading.
