We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Personal Injury Attorney who is licensed in New Jersey to join our diverse and exceptional team. We have a well-established Plaintiff's Personal Injury full-service law firm in lower Manhattan.
The ideal candidate for the Personal Injury Associate Attorney should have 3-5 years of experience handling plaintiff’s personal injury cases and be licensed in New Jersey. Deposition experience and strong writing skills are required for this position. Trial experience is strongly preferred. Medical Malpractice experience is preferred. Experience litigating civil cases in New York State and Federal courts is preferred.
Exposure to litigating Labor Law 240 and 241(6) cases is greatly preferred. The Personal Injury Attorney will be expected to aggressively utilize the litigation process to either resolve cases for top dollar or take them to trial. This is a great opportunity for a born trial attorney!
Plaintiff's Personal Injury Associate Attorney Qualifications:
- Admitted to practice in NY is Required.
- Bar Admission in NJ is Required.
- Duties include the handling of a caseload from inception to trial or settlement.
- Law firm experience as a Plaintiff's Personal Injury Attorney/practicing litigator with experience negotiating and resolving complex disputes.
- Preparing witnesses (deposition and trial)
- Fact gathering (deposition and trial)
- Excellent writing, analytical ability, negotiating and oral presentation skills are also required.
- The Plaintiff's Personal Injury Attorney Candidate must be a self-starter who takes the initiative, is adept at problem-solving, and is eager to delve into the broad range of issues that arise in the field of personal injury.
- A successful Plaintiff's Personal Injury Attorney candidate will possess intellectual curiosity, excellent judgment, good organizational and project management skills, and the ability to independently manage multiple matters and work effectively with a team.
- Creativity, independent thinking, and the ability to effectively communicate with multiple departments are critical attributes of the successful candidate.
