What are the responsibilities and job description for the Alarm Installation Technician position at Law Security?
Job Summary:
We are seeking an Alarm Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing and maintaining alarm systems for residential and commercial properties.
Duties:
- Install and program security systems including low voltage wiring for cameras, audio, and home automation networking.
- Troubleshoot and repair any issues with alarm systems
- Provide customer training on system operation and maintenance
- Collaborate with clients to customize security solutions based on their needs
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of wiring and equipment installations
Requirements:
- Some experience as an Alarm Technician or similar role a plus but on site training available. Hourly pay will be determined based on experience.
- Knowledge of electrical systems and wiring techniques
- Familiarity with low voltage wiring and networking for system integration
- Ability to detect and resolve problems with security systems efficiently
- Certification in security system installation or related field is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
