About the Firm:
We are a well-established, small law firm in Tustin, seeking a motivated and experienced Paralegal with at least two years of experience to assist in the areas of Trust Administration and Estate Planning.
Role Overview:
As a Paralegal, you will work closely with the Attorney and other team members, contributing to the preparation and execution of key legal documents, client interactions, and overall administrative tasks. We are looking for someone eager to learn and grow within the firm while providing exceptional support to our clients.
Primary Responsibilities:
Estate Planning Paralegal Tasks:
Paralegal Certificate required
Minimum Of 2 Year Of Relevant Experience
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Must be detail-oriented and proactive
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Advanced Experience With Word And Outlook Is Required
Ability to work well in a team environment with attorneys and fellow paralegals
Must have a stable work history
ADAPT software or similar estate planning software

Estate Planning Paralegal Tasks:
- Draft estate planning documents (wills, trusts, powers of attorney, etc.) using ADAPT estate planning software
- Meet with clients for signing appointments
- Perform some legal research
- Assist with phone answering
- Calendaring and scheduling appointments
- Handle mail, scanning, and faxing
- Input legal costs into client files using legal software
- Maintain organization and compliance with deadlines
- Assist in drafting trust administration documents
- Billable hours per day
- Quickly learn the trust administration and estate planning, including relevant legal terminology
- Quickly learn the basics of our other firm offerings
- Obtain Notary License (Firm will cover associated costs)
Paralegal Certificate required
