Landscape Foreman
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- At least 3 years experience working in Landscaping and/or Landscape Construction/Design.
- At least 1 year experience working as the leader of a landscaping crew.
- At least 2 years experience operating a Bobcat, Skid-Steer or similar machinery.
- Grading, leveling and pitching experience required.

POSITION SUMMARY
We are looking for an experienced Landscape Foreman to perform a wide range of physical labor tasks at residential and commercial sites. This position will be responsible for supervising and providing leadership to the landscaping crew in the installation and management of all types of landscape projects from start to finish. The Landscape Foreman will play a key role in ensuring worksites run as smooth as possible with efficiency and thoroughness following the direction of the site Project Manager.

SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Demonstrates extensive knowledge of landscaping techniques and procedures
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Possesses a thorough understanding of math and geometry
- Ability to manage time, productivity, project budgets, and material record keeping
- Demonstrates excellent verbal communication skills
- Possesses a thorough understanding of how to operate small machinery, pull trailers, bobcats, skid steers, large trucks, and stone cutting saws
- Ability to work well with others and oversee a small team
- Ability to create a variety of surfaces for various purposes
- Possesses a valid/active driver’s license
JOB DUTIES:
- Leads, directs, supervises, and works with field crew to complete residential and commercial landscaping projects
- Operates heavy machinery such as Bobcats/Skid-Steers to efficiently complete jobs.
- Correctly grades, levels, and pitches landscapes with machinery and by hand.
- Constructs and installs plant beds, clears and removes debris and brush, mulching, grading, and oversees the entire landscape design to ensure it is what the client is looking for
- Assesses and resolves minor worksite problems and maintains and performs minor repairs on equipment
- Maintains accurate documentation of production records related to work happening at worksite
- Trains and motivates all worksite landscaping personnel
- Performs inspections of work completed and provides direction to crew to maintain quality and safety at worksites
- Loads and unloads trucks to expedite crew on a daily basis
- Operates skid steers, compact excavators, tractors, chainsaws, power tools, and other specialized equipment
- Coordinate work to maximize efficiency, quality, and profitability
- Maintains a clean and safe job site
- Performs other related duties as assigned
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Prolonged periods standing, stooping, bending, kneeling, and squatting, digging, planting, and walking
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time
- Must be able to work in extremely noisy areas
- Excellent hand-eye coordination
- Must be able to work in all types of weather
