We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Snow Plow Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently clearing snow and ice from roads, parking lots, and other designated areas to ensure safe passage for vehicles and pedestrians during winter weather conditions. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to operate snow removal equipment safely and effectively.
Responsibilities
- Operate snow plow trucks and other snow removal equipment to clear snow and ice from various surfaces.
- Monitor weather conditions and respond promptly to changing conditions to ensure timely snow removal.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate snow removal efforts in a safe and efficient manner.
- Maintain clear communication with supervisors regarding progress and any issues encountered during operations.
- Assist with landscape maintenance tasks as needed during off-season periods, including lawn care, groundskeeping, tree care, and hardscape work.
- Ensure all work areas are left clean and free of debris after snow removal operations.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and maintain snow removal equipment effectively.
- Experience in landscape maintenance, including mowing, digging, gardening, and general groundskeeping.
