Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Lawn Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of lawn care, landscape maintenance, and groundskeeping. This role involves performing various tasks related to the upkeep and beautification of residential and commercial properties, ensuring that lawns and landscapes are healthy, attractive, and well-maintained.
Responsibilities
- Perform lawn care activities including mowing, edging, aerating, and basic labor
- Conduct tree care services such as pruning and trimming to maintain the health and appearance of trees.
- Dig and prepare soil for planting flowers, shrubs, or trees as needed.
- Irrigate lawns and landscapes effectively to ensure proper hydration.
- Provide general landscape maintenance including weeding, mulching, and planting.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition; report any repairs needed.
- Communicate with clients regarding their lawn care needs and provide recommendations for improvements.
Requirements
- Previous experience in lawn care or landscape maintenance is preferred but not required.
- Ability to operate landscaping tools such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and hand tools safely.
- Strong physical stamina; ability to lift heavy objects and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- A valid driver’s license is preferred for travel between job sites.
