Part-Time Lawn Maintenance Technician

About the Job:
Lawn Doctor of Clermont is seeking a dependable, motivated, and hard working Lawn Maintenance Technician to assist with lawn improvement projects around the Clermont, Winter Garden, and S.W. Orlando areas. This part-time role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in quality work, and has hands-on experience in lawn care or landscaping.

Pay & Schedule:

• Pay: $18–$20 per hour (based on experience)
• Schedule: Part-time, 2–3 days per week
• Hours: Must be available Monday–Friday during business hours (7 AM – 5 PM)
• We’re flexible and can work around your availability within those days

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform sod replacement (St. Augustine, Zoysia, Bahia)
• Complete overseeding projects to improve lawn density
• Apply top dressing to soil and enhance turf quality
• Conduct liquid and core aeration
• Handle basic sprinkler repairs (head replacement, adjustments, zone checks)
• Support additional lawn care and turf renovation projects
• Possible move into lawn maintenance (mow) or a lawn care (fert & apps) technician in the future

Qualifications:

• Lawn care or landscaping experience preferred
• Familiar with Florida turf types and basic irrigation systems
• Able to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in Florida heat
• Experience with various lawn equipment and hand tools
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Must be able to pull and drive with a small cargo or utility trailer
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude
