Fast-growing landscape company in North Central Florida is seeking qualified candidate for the Branch Manager for our Summerfield Office. We are looking for a talented Branch manager to assign and direct all work performed in the branch and to supervise all areas of operation. You will manage staff, foster a positive environment and ensure customer satisfaction and proper branch operation. The successful candidate will have a hands-on approach and will be committed to the expansion and success of the business by implementing strategies that increase productivity and enable sales targets achievement.
As an Branch Manager you will be expected to:
- Lead, manage and hold accountable all Account Managers, Production managers and production staff.
- Act as the main point of contact between the branch location and Corporate office. COO.
- Attend Customer Meetings (Including Board meetings as necessary)
- Plan, schedule and implement various projects to ensure that goals/objectives of the project are accomplished within the contract’s scope of work and within the set budget
- Hold accountable managers for proactive communication.
- Review all proposals for all enhancement produced by Account Managers
- Follow proper corporate procedures to ensure timely billing of completed jobs
- Work with field managers and crew members to ensure curb appeal, client expectations are met, and the highest level of quality is maintained
- Troubleshoot with related project managers to identify and correct disease/pest issues, invasive/undesirable plant species, turf, fertilization, and irrigation management, and general plant decline
- Review the pipe line with Business Development team. Reviewing that all jobs jobs are bid, performed, and billed to be profitable
- Conduct Safety inspections of crews when in the field to ensure company procedures and protocols are followed
- Have excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Possess excellent organizational skills
- Handle all HR at the branch level with the assistance of Corporate HR team.
Responsibilities and Duties
Requirements:
- Proficient with computer software programs including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Accurate record-keeping
- Able to meet constantly changing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Utilizes creative, innovative thinking to design and forecast
- Is familiar with contracts and specifications to ensure compliance with all state and federal laws
- Possesses thorough Horticultural knowledge and experience.
- Customer service experience (able to identify and resolve customer concerns)
- Employee relation experience ( able to deal with different personalities and create a great working environment and culture.
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Strong work ethic
Qualifications and Skills
- Prefer but not required: Bachelor’s degree in any of these: Ag Business, Horticulture, Ag Science, Landscape Maintenance, Agronomy, Floriculture, Forestry, Plant and Soil Science, Environmental Design, Turf Grass or Landscape Architecture
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus but not necessary
