Job Description
We are seeking Denver Metro’s top-tier Irrigation Sales Engineer to join our team in Littleton, Colorado. This role combines technical expertise with sales acumen to generate leads, sell irrigation services, maintain customer relationships, and ensure smooth project kickoffs. You’ll be the face of our premium residential irrigation operations - helping homeowners protect their valuable home and landscape investments while ensuring curb appeal of the highest quality.

Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Generate and develop sales leads through networking, referrals, inbound inquiries, and outreach efforts.
- Consult with homeowners to assess their irrigation needs, provide expert recommendations, and design tailored solutions.
- Prepare and present detailed proposals for irrigation system installation, upgrades, and maintenance services (including the creation of digital irrigation system designs).
- Close deals and maintain a strong pipeline of sales opportunities. * Maintain long-term client relationships through exceptional service, follow-ups, and ongoing communication.
- Educate customers on the value of efficient irrigation and system upgrades that enhance water conservation and performance.
- Collaborate with marketing to refine sales strategies, promotions, and customer engagement efforts.
Project Coordination & Technical Oversight
- Serve as the liaison between customers and the Installation Team, ensuring clear expectations, project details, and timelines.
- Kick off sold projects by coordinating with Dispatch, Management and Technicians to ensure seamless execution.
- Perform on-site system evaluations and provide customers with expert recommendations for optimizing performance.
- Oversee project progress and address any customer concerns during installation or service.
- Ensure compliance with industry best practices, local water conservation regulations, and company service standards.
Industry Expertise & Customer Education
- Stay updated on irrigation technology trends, water conservation practices, and system innovations.
- Educate customers on proper irrigation maintenance and smart water management solutions.
- Advocate for solutions that balance conservation with a premium curb appeal aesthetic.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in residential irrigation system service, design, and installation.
- Strong sales background with a proven ability to generate leads, close deals, and build long- term customer relationships.
- Expertise in irrigation system components, design, troubleshooting, and installation (controllers, backflow preventers, valves, wiring, sensors, pumps, sprinklers, and nozzles).
- Proven expertise in irrigation system design.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information to homeowners in a clear, compelling manner.
- Ability to navigate Field Service Management Software, Google Drive, and CRM platforms.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Must clear all applicable background checks.
- Certification in irrigation system installation or repair is a plus (IA Certified Irrigation Technician preferred).
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and performing physical tasks such as walking properties and inspecting systems.
