Job description
Lawn King, the region’s premier lawn care company, is looking for a Weed Wrecker to join our team! As a locally owned business, we take pride in maintaining beautiful, healthy lawns, and we need you to help us in our mission to be the Herbicide Hero. This role involves working independently and as part of a team to complete predefined spraying routes, taking on weeds like a true Dandelion Destroyer. If you're passionate about keeping lawns pristine, enjoy working outdoors, and have excellent summer availability, we want to hear from you! While experience with spraying equipment is helpful, we’re happy to train the right individual who has an eye for detail and the determination to protect lawns from pesky invaders. Summer Work Week
- Summer Work: May 1st – October 31st (approximately)
- Roughly 7am-6pm M-Th – Fridays/Weekends vary on workload and weather
- Peak months are May, June, August, and September
Job Details
- Spraying residential and commercial lawns with a weed control and fertilizer mix
- Working as a team to get routes completed
- Fueling and light maintenance of equipment and trucks
- We are willing to train the right individuals with an eye for detail!
Winter Work Week
- Winter Work: November 1st – April 31st (approximately)
- Roughly 8am-5pm M-F / On call schedule
- Typically operating equipment in support of winter snow operations.
Qualifications
- Ability to work in a fast-paced outdoor environment!
- Valid driver’s License needed!
- Detail oriented individual
- Willingness to learn and grow
