We are seeking a skilled and reliable individual to join our team as a Lawn Care Technician. As a Lawn Care Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the appearance of our clients' lawns and landscapes. This is a hands-on position that requires knowledge of lawn care techniques, the use of power and hand tools, and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
Duties:
- Perform regular lawn maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, and trimming
- Apply fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides to promote healthy lawn growth
- Clean up debris and leaves from lawns and garden beds
- Plant flowers, shrubs, and trees to enhance the overall landscape
- Assist with snow plowing and removal during winter months
- Maintain hardscape features such as walkways and patios
- Trim trees and shrubs to maintain their shape and health
- Operate power tools such as lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and chainsaws
- Utilize hand tools for tasks such as planting, weeding, and pruning
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in lawn care or landscaping preferred
- Knowledge of lawn care techniques and best practices
- Familiarity with power tools used in lawn maintenance
- Ability to operate hand tools effectively and safely
- Strong attention to detail for precise trimming and planting
- Physical stamina to work outdoors for extended periods of time
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently
