Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Irrigation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have customer service skills and ability to learn quickly. There is no experience required for this job. We will train you so you can be successful! This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair various types of irrigation systems, including drip, sprinkler, and underground systems.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to perform installation and repair tasks.
- Conduct regular inspections of irrigation systems to identify issues such as leaks or blockages.
- Troubleshoot mechanical problems and perform necessary repairs or adjustments.
- Dig trenches for irrigation lines as needed while ensuring minimal disruption to existing landscapes.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including repairs made and materials used.
- Provide recommendations for system upgrades or enhancements based on observed performance.
Requirements
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Ability to dig trenches and perform physical labor associated with installation tasks.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in identifying issues within irrigation systems.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
- Previous experience in landscaping or garden maintenance is preferred but not required.
- Valid driver's license may be required
