We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Irrigation Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the outdoors and willingness to learn. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems to ensure optimal water distribution for gardens and landscapes. The Irrigation Worker will work outdoors in various weather conditions and must be comfortable using a variety of tools and equipment.
Duties
- Install and maintain irrigation systems, including pipes, valves, and sprinkler heads.
- Dig trenches for irrigation lines using hand tools and power tools.
- Conduct regular inspections of irrigation systems to identify issues or areas for improvement.
- Perform repairs on existing irrigation systems as needed.
- Assist in the design and layout of new irrigation systems based on landscape requirements.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools and work areas.
Skills
- Ability to dig trenches effectively while adhering to safety protocols.
- Familiarity with lawn care practices is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
