Lawn Technician PLUS Direct Sales

Key Responsibilities: THE POSITION WITH START AS 100$ DOOR TO DOOR SALES IN THE BEGINNING!!

Sales Responsibilities:

• Door-to-Door Sales & Client Acquisition: Proactively visit homes and neighborhoods to introduce the company’s services, generate new business leads, and provide service information. Distribute marketing materials, such as door hangers, brochures, and yard signs to promote the company.
• Upselling Services: Identify and recommend additional services (fertilization, aeration, pest control, etc.) to existing clients based on their lawn needs, upselling when appropriate.
• Sales Targets: Contribute to meeting and exceeding monthly sales goals by proactively identifying sales opportunities through door-to-door interactions and follow-ups.
• Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain positive relationships with clients to increase retention rates and encourage repeat business.
• Customer Consultations: Provide on-site consultations for potential clients, offering customized lawn care solutions and pricing information.

Lawn Care Technician Responsibilities:

• Fertilization and Pest Control: Apply fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides according to safety and company guidelines to enhance lawn health and control weeds and pests.
• Customer Service: Communicate with clients regarding service updates, questions, or concerns to ensure satisfaction and provide expert lawn care advice.
• Equipment Maintenance: Operate and maintain lawn care equipment, including Z-Spray, backpack sprayer, blowers, and other tools. Ensure that all equipment is in good working condition.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of services performed, materials used, and any other relevant data for client profiles.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for both the technician and clients.

Qualifications:

• Experience: No experience required. All training will be provided on job sites with Service Managers or trainers.
• Knowledge: Basic knowledge of lawn care techniques, fertilizers, pesticides, and irrigation systems is preferred.
• Physical Ability: Must be able to perform physical labor, including lifting heavy equipment and materials, bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
• License/Certification: Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are required. Some areas may require specific pesticide or fertilization certifications (training can be provided).
• Customer Service: Strong communication skills to interact with customers professionally and address their needs.
• Detail-Oriented: High attention to detail to ensure quality work and customer satisfaction.
• Work Ethic: Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Preferred Skills and Attributes:

• Experience in operating and maintaining power equipment and tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to different lawn care needs.
• Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures.
• Friendly and approachable demeanor when working with clients.
• Previous experience in sales, marketing, or customer relations is a plus.

Work Environment:

• Physical Demands: Outdoor work in various weather conditions, including heat, rain, or cold. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work with heavy machinery.
• Work Hours: Full-time, with potential weekend or evening work depending on client needs and scheduling.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
