Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Irrigation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for landscaping and irrigation systems, with the ability to work efficiently and effectively in outdoor settings of all weather conditions.
Duties:
- Install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems for residential and commercial properties
- Inspect and troubleshoot irrigation issues to determine necessary repairs
- Program and adjust irrigation controllers for optimal performance
- Perform regular maintenance on irrigation equipment and components
- Collaborate with landscaping teams to ensure proper irrigation coverage for plants and lawns
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment to complete tasks
- Dig trenches, lay pipes, and build irrigation systems as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in garden maintenance, landscape irrigation, or related field
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment
- Knowledge of lawn care practices and landscape maintenance techniques
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair irrigation systems efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Requirements:
- Must have valid driver's license
- Able to lift 50 lbs and have full range of mobility
- We may require all candidates to pass a drug screening.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience in landscape construction or installation
- Familiarity with building or retrofitting irrigation systems
- Understanding of water conservation principles in irrigation practices
