What are the responsibilities and job description for the Division Manager- Fertilization Division position at Lawn Stars Group, LLC?
We are looking to hire a Fertilization, Weed Control, and Insect Control Applicator who has the ability and drive to grow and manage our growing Fertilization Division. The individual will work directly with the Owner and CEO to continue developing and growing the division. We have a large clientele with the potential to significantly grow the Division this season with the right candidate.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Apply fertilizers, and pesticides to lawns according to schedule, safety procedures, and label instructions.
- Apply insecticides to control mosquitoes, Ticks, and other insects.
- Efficient routing of assigned daily work.
- Drives company vehicle to customer location.
- Completes required production in tablet or provided form, and provide customer visit details, and necessary instructions.
- Ensure individual service/production goals are met.
- Provide quality service to customers.
- Measure, quote and fill out proper sales forms for all truck sales.
- Maintains positive morale among personnel and actively promotes teamwork.
- Completes daily route assigned.
- Works with manager to identify ways to increase customer satisfaction
- Ensures that vehicle is loaded efficiently for assigned work load.
- Manage inventory on vehicle, both product & equipment
- Regularly inspect trucks & equipment for operation, and cleanliness.
- Complete daily fill sheets in accordance with company policy and state law.
- Proper use and care of equipment provided by Emerald Lawns
- Attends weekly team meetings.
- Interacts with customers in a positive manner.
- Complies with policies, procedures, and productivity standards.
- Assist in maintaining a safe workplace.
- Perform other task as assigned by management
Skillset Needed:
- Must be licensed in the State of Michigan with at least two year of application experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in english, with strong customer-service focus.
- Ability to read and interpret documents.
- Ability to communicate effectively with front line staff and their supervisors.
- Organized / Time management.
- Understanding and ability to read a map.
- Basic Mathematical skills to calculate figures.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instruction. (written, oral, diagram, or schedule form)
- Punctual in accordance with the employee handbook.
- Practical knowledge of service & safety standards.
- Preventative equipment maintenance
- Problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs., bend, stretch, stand for extended periods of time, climb stairs, reach, twist, sit, walk. Push and pull equipment.
- Must have a valid driver's license and be able to drive safely and follow all laws and rules of driving.
- Ability to works outdoors. Subject to weather conditions which may include extreme cold, extreme heat or wet conditions

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
