Title- BCDR Consultant
Location- Redmond, WA (Remote)
Experience: 7 Years
Contract Duration: 6 Months
Visa: H1B, or USC
Client is preferring a candidate who can work from office and is an immediate joiner, but remote is also an option.
Job Description:
- Design and implement BCDR strategies and solutions using Azure services such as Azure Site Recovery, Azure Backup, and Azure Virtual Machines.
- Provisioning, configuring, and managing Azure resources such as compute resources, storage resources, databases, and networking components.
- Networking concepts, including virtual networks, subnets, VPNs, load balancers, firewalls, and Azure front door.
- Azure foundation, including knowledge Subscription, Resource Groups, Active Directory, Access Controls, Authentication, Security, and Encryption.
- Implementing Backup and Restore strategies through Recovery Services Vault or other similar technologies.
- Develop and maintain recovery plans, including replication, failover, and failback procedures.
- Understanding of disaster recovery concepts such as RTO (Recovery Time Objective), RPO (Recovery Point Objective), high availability, and redundancy
- Proficiency in monitoring and troubleshooting using Azure tools
- Familiarity with containerization technologies, virtualization technologies and their deployment in Azure.
- Ability to use scripting with PowerShell or Azure CLI.
Preferred Certifications:
- Previous experience in Microsoft BCDR drill will be added advantage
- Azure Solutions Architect/Azure Administrator Associate/Azure Security Engineer Associate.
